Carrie Howard / Woodford County
Her hair cascaded down her back in sweeps of chestnut.
The hands collided with parchment and fingers delicately grasped each corner.
The light of candle enveloping her essence like a lovers embrace.
Her cheeks rosy and soft. My hands tremble with the thought of tracing them again.
Silks are slung around her person in fitted fashion.
I long to stand idle beside her.
The way she moved enwrapped my vision, and made home of my heart.
Even the citron-shadows in the blue can’t grip my gaze as she.
